Jane & J.E.B.- Rock Hill, SC

Congratulations to my dear friends Jane & J.E.B. Wilson on their new marriage! They were married on Saturday, November 4 in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It was such an honor to be the photographer for such a special occasion... not to mention the joy in photographing so many of the people I love. Jane and I graduated from Converse College the same year, and she was one of my bridesmaids in our wedding. Because I love her so much, I am having the hardest time narrowing down the images for this post, so there goes the standard 3-7... we are posting 10-15! Happy viewing! Look for the slideshow on my site later this week.

Rae,

LOVE the pictures! I know that Jane and JEB really appreciated it all. It was great to see you this weekend and catch a quick visit. I can't begin to tell you how comfortable you made us all feel. Even one of the groomsmen commented, "Dude, that photographer is so quick and sometimes I don't even know she's around!" Can't wait to see what else your camara will capture. Stay warm!

Love,
Courtenay

Rae,

You have quite an eye for the constant beauty that surrounds us. It is in every person and thing, every moment and place, but to capture it in stillness is a gift that few have. There was a whole lotta beauty running amok this weekend, and the few still shots on display here prove you to be a huntress of beauty. With camera in hand, beauty stands not a chance. I fear that I am getting carried away. I shall end this madness with a rousing "well done!" Jolly good show!

We've shared this website around the horn here at Winterthur, Jane's most recent stop before returning to SC -- what beautiful photos of such a beautiful bride...of course we know that her beauty is both inside and out! Thank you for posting the photos so we can all see her on her special day! Congratulations, Janie-Jane! Fondly, Martha and the Coach House Gang!

I sent a message about an hour or so ago. I did not check any box, so it may be lost. The idea was that your photography was unbeleivably beautiful.

Rae,

Nice photos of the wedding. Wish we had been there to enjoy the festivities, but, alas, we had to rely upon your "eyes" to fill us in on the event. Congrats to Jane and Jeb.

Does art imitate life, or does life imitate art? This is an age-old question posed time and again, and I am fascinated by the answer your art projects, Rae. With the right perspective, art is life, and life is art. They are one and the same. Beautiful!

Congrats to J.E.B. and Jane. There are no finer people in all the land, and I am honored to call them friends.

Keith
