Post-Easter Portrait Party

Even though it was miserable outside (40 and rainy), we had a great time at our first portrait party! The Hoovers, Coopers, and the Frosts were great sports to play inside Loon Lodge at Young Life's Saranac Village.

To schedule your portrait party, please, have 3 other families with young children in mind, and contact us either via phone or email. We remind everyone that these parties are intended to be an introduction to our services for families with children, but they do not replace a personal session.

Laura & Eli's Engagement Session

Congratulations to Laura and Eli on their upcoming wedding! Thank you for such a fun time during the shoot down the River Walk to Lake Flower right here in Saranac Lake.

We now offer complimentary Engagement Shoots with all of our wedding packages. This is not only a great opportunity to get both casual and formal shots for engagement announcements, these shoots will help you get a sense of our style and how we will work with you in order to help you be the most comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. If you are interested in an engagement session seperate from a wedding package, we have a variety of options and would love to customize a package for you.

Philly Hot Chicks!

For Brianna's 15th birthday, we did a shoot with her and her friend Amy. These ladies are amazingly photogenic and so fun to photograph! We can't wait until the big sweet 16.

While on vacation, we practiced with our new cameras (Nikon D2X and Fuji S3) on some willing subjects: Chris' siblings. So much fun!

Leather Craftsmen Tour

Last Thursday, Chris and I went to the factory of one of the most esteemed album binding companies in the world: Leather Craftsmen. We are VERY excited to start offering their products. Even though they are a little pricey in comparison to other companies, we completely agree with their philosophy of quality. Every book is hand made: hand mounted, hand cut, hand sewn, etc. These workers are amazingly detailed! Their albums far exceed anything we've ever seen before, but they are not only beautifully crafted, they are guaranteed for life! If any part of your album starts to fall apart, they will usually fix it for free, and for a company that has been around for over 60 years, you can trust that they mean what they say.
