Kelly & Nick's Album

We are FINALLY home from our travels to Ireland, and I have a million images and stories I want to share with you! But first, I just completed a wedding album design for Kelly & Nick (married last September 15). The first slide is for the cover of their coffee table book- think of a sleeve you find on most coffee table books. Instead of showing off the cover or the first page, I thought I would show off this one spread that had just a single image accross it (Chris took this shot). I used a technique to make it look like infared film, and I just love the artistic feel of it! Check out the rest of it here. The final product will be printed and bound by Asuka Book.

Heather & Patrick's Album Design!

It is up and running and ready to view in slideshow format! Click here to see it. You can also get to it on my site by clicking on the CLIENTS tab and then clicking on View Wedding Slideshows. I just had to post one of my favorite pages. Look at how cool their cake is! Lake Flour Bakery in Saranac Lake does amazing work (even though their site is kinda cheesy), and it tastes good, too... and I don't typically like cake.

It is 2AM, and I am posting on my blog

Yikes, I am so tired, but there is so much to finish before we leave Thursday morning, before the sun comes up, for Ireland for 11 days... Here is what kept me up: Heather & Pat's predesigned album. This is the first page and the last (60 pages in all). Look for the complete set in the slideshow part of my site tomorrow, and if i get around to it, there will be more posts on California. Good night! Sleep tight!

Lyndsey & Patrick's slideshow!

It is ready! Click here to view it. I have to apologize for the first and last page- we are having technical difficulties to get it to the right format, so it looks pretty pixellated currently. It is also in a new format... we are going to attempt to predesign a flushmount album for every wedding in 2007 instead of just selecting a few images for a slideshow. Go to Leather Craftsmen to view what a finished album would look like.

Side Note: We are FINALLY closing on our house in a little over 2 hours from now, and we are moving tomorrow!!! So, we may be MIA for a little while... Have a great weekend everyone!

annie & dan's album!

I am so excited about Annie & Dan's flush mount album that I posted a slideshow of it on my site. Check it out! This is just page one. Once the album passes their approval, it will go to print and bind. In a few months, there will be a sample of it available at the Whiteface Club & Resort for any future bride to look through!

Sending out albums...

I am so excited to be sending out TWO albums today (along with one album order)! I just had to give you all previews of these beautiful Leather Craftsmen albums. The first one is Krisine & Brian's Fine Art Book that has 40 5x7s mounted one per page in order to give a fine art presentation of their images. The second one is obviously Erin & Damon's; it is a 10x10 flush mount album with 50 sides/25 pages, split tone cover, and imprinting on the binding. Keep an eye out for all the many albums that will be rolling through here in the next month or two!

New Cypress Digital Albums!

I am really excited to hear that Cypress has just added to their line of beautiful silk albums! They now offer the digitally designed flush mount albums that everyone loves. I have just loved every album, proof box, or folio that we have ordered from them, so I am anxiously awaiting the moment when I will be able to see the digital album in person. Since Cypress albums are so elegant and refined, the layouts for these albums will be much simpler than that we would put in a Leather Craftsmen album. These albums are handcrafted and enveloped with Japanese bookbinding fabric and bound with ribbons from Switzerland. These albums are definitely for the discerning bride!
